It is common to see social media services, for instance Facebook, offering features centered around sharing your current location. There has yet to be an app that really incorporates your own location in a unique way, particularly when it comes to sharing content with others. That being said, here comes the next social media explosion. It’s an app that goes by the name BounceChat and it connects you to people, places, pics and events nearby and around the world.
How about we break down how it works then? First things first. Download the app and login through Facebook or create an account. Then, scroll the Feed to see what is happening nearby from 100 yards to around the planet. Just adjust your Bounce view by moving the slider. You can tap the Map Icon to view Bounces around you. To create a Bounce you simple need to attach a photo, link, or message, then choose the expiration from 10 minutes to a month. You can then share or hide your map location.
Next you will need to pick the radius of the bounce, for instance a distance of 100 yards. You can even bounce globally if you want. Once you bounce it, anyone can see it who has BounceChat within that vicinity. You can Bounce 100 yards within an event, 100 miles to a local community or globally to every user! Just like other social media you can also comment on, like and save photos.
Not only is it great socially but it also can benefit a business. You can bounce links, deals, and events that are going on, or if you’re an artist, you can bounce new music. BounceChat is available on iOS devices including newer iPhones, and the Apple Watch with Android coming soon. Download it for free on the appstore or their website.
