InnerGroup – Keep Your Friends Close | NewsWatch Review

App Review

Social media networks like Facebook are great but can get a little out of control when you start to have hundreds or even thousands of “friends” – most of who you don’t even know.  Here’s a new social media app that keeps the group a little more tightknit. It’s called InnerGroup.

Once you download the app you can create a group and invite friends to it. Members of the group are called groupies.  Only the people invited to a group are able to see your posts – whether it’s a message, a photo, or a video.   Once the posts are delivered to groupies, they disappear off InnerGroup’s servers and now only exist on each person’s device. There are no emails or phone numbers required, and you don’t have to worry about Mark Zuckerberg owning all your photos anymore. If someone in the group is posting things you dislike or don’t want visible on your device you can slide the post and delete it.  The photo is only removed from your device, but not others.

The app-to-app communication diminishes all unnecessary postings on other social media timelines that you don’t care to see because now you can just see the people in your InnerGroup. There are no more ads, unnecessary emails, spam, etc. Best of all, what you put on this app will not stay out in the Internet forever. Unlike Facebook and many social media devices, when you delete a post it is truly gone because there is no server saving information and you no longer need worry about servers being hacked anymore.

This safe and secure app costs 99 cents whenever you want to start a group but you can join any group for free. InnerGroup is free on iOS or Android devices. So go to your app store today and search for “InnerGroup” to learn more.
