So about a hundred and 20 years ago, the great European migration to America began, with over 25 million Europeans looking for a new start in a new world. Two of those were men from the Calabria region of Italy with the last name Suraci. The two brothers had a dream to build an American cigar company and convinced their third brother to join them. They rose and fell with the country, losing everything in the Stock Market crash of 29, but continuing to build. And now, although none of those brothers are alive, the cigar company Avanti, is the only producer of dried cured cigars in the United States.

Seen on the lips of Frank Sinatra, wine maker Francis Ford Coppola , and rumored to be Clint Eastwood's favorite in his westerns, these cigars are not only famous but delicious. Hand picked by tobacco farmers in Kentucky and Tennessee, their cigars are top shelf and never filled with leftover leaves...only full leaves. They also have flavored cigars that are dipped in all natural products, like café mocha and anise.
