Helix Interview with Billy Campbell

Billy Campbell is best known for starring as single dad 'Rick Sammler' opposite Sela Ward in the beloved ABC drama Once and Again. Most recently, he portrayed Abraham Lincoln in Nat Geo's Killing Lincoln, based on the New York Times best-seller.

Campbell stars as Dr. Alan Farragut in the much-anticipated Syfy original thriller, Helix. The new series follows a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control as they investigate a deadly disease outbreak. Campbell's character is the leader of a Centers for Disease Control outbreak field team called upon to investigate and control a potential outbreak.

Look for him in DirecTV’s drama Full Circle; a new Lifetime movie with Christina Ricci based on Lizzie Borden; a new thriller called The Scribbler; and a new comedy with Evan Rachel Wood. Campbell is currently in rehearsals for a new stage play in San Diego. When he's not acting, he has found time to sail around the world and plays in a rugby league.
