The Apple Watch is projected to make a big splash! The latest investor news regarding the Apple Watch suggests that the smartwatch will have record sales in its first week. An analyst predicted that the Apple Watch will sell one million units in its first weekend after April 24th. The Apple Watch is also projected to have over 300,000 pre-sale orders on April 10th. Only time will tell how successful this new wearable technology from Apple will be.

Twitter vs. Facebook. Both social media platforms have taken video apps under their wing in hopes of giving users the best video experience. Twitter’s Periscope has been growing in popularity for the past week. Periscope is a live-stream video app that allows you to share video with your followers. Facebook just took over Riff. Riff is a video app that allows you to collaborate on a video with friends by letting you post a clip and your friends can add to the video with their own clip. Periscope and Riff are different, but both prove the move towards video sharing.

California has been experiencing a drought for the past year. Governor Jerry Brown announced mandatory water restrictions for residents, businesses and farms statewide. The goal is to reduce water usage by 25% in cities and towns in California. This means there will be cuts in watering campuses, golf course, cemeteries, and any other large landscapes, and there is even a ban on watering grass on public street medians.
