Apple announced the dates of its annual WWDC conference. The conference will be held in San Francisco June 8th-12th. This year’s WWDC is exciting because coders will have the chance to explore the limits of the Apple Watch in hands-on labs. The developer conference hosted by Apple will focus on the tech company’s new technology. Apple also released the iOS 8.4 beta update. The highlight of this update is a revamped Music app. The new interface of the Music app will create a more user-friend experience.
Net neutrality is still a hot button issue around the world. A new plan from the company Airtel has many concerned. The Airtel Zero plan will filter all internet use through Google and Facebook limiting the user’s online experience. Though Airtel stands by its Airtel Zero product, other companies like Flipkart are backing out from the product. Many have taken to twitter to express their concern for the Airtel plan.
Russian agency, Roskomnadzor, focuses on controlling the internet, media, and telecommunications. This agency has recently tightened up their personal data policy by banning the use of public figures in memes. This means that the use of memes featuring public figures’ can lead to the users being sued.
