Stain First Aid is basically a digital resource for dealing with and cleaning up stains on your carpet. Now the app can help you remove up to 50 different common stains on your carpet, from the obvious -- red wine -- to the more obscure -- let's say nail polish or candle wax. For some of the stains on the app, there's a video explaining the cleaning process. So it's very easy too.

In addition to the cleaning techniques, there are also do's and don'ts, a section on the supplies you'll need, and just great information on keeping those carpets clean. The app is not only great in our eyes, but it's also been stamped with a seal of approval by Julie Edelman, the accidental housewife who writes on Rachel Ray's blog. So it's tried and tested by quite a few sources.
