We always talk about the prevalence and functionality of our mobile devices. And one of the more tenured features we get with our phones is access to music. Which is why Bang and Olufsen unveiled the BeoSound Essence at CES this year.

Wireless, touch and motion sensitive, and...as is always the case with Bang and Olufsen, sleek and modern looking, the BeoSound Essence is the next logical step for infusing music throughout our daily lives.

So there's really three components to the device. There's the remote you install on your wall, then there's the hideaway box that you place anywhere in your home, and then there's the BeoMusic app for controlling your music on iOS and Android devices. All three combine to let you play music from thousands of Internet radio stations and your own playlists when you walk into a room, turn on the lights in your refrigerator, or just want to add music to your living room.
