We’ve all seen a word search, but a new app developed by  Devarai  called Word Search Gold has taken that simple premise and created a more fun and educational version by adding themes and languages into the mix.  So now you can do word search in French, Portuguese, Turkish, or even American Slang.  And you can do it in an Oktoberfest or Mayan jungle theme – lots of fun options there.  But the overall goal is to increase your knowledge of a language and have fun while doing it.

So once you’ve chosen your language and level of difficulty, you’ll see words at the bottom of the screen you need to find.  As you find them in the jumbled letters, you get more time added to the clock.  Once you find all the words, your timer stops.  And the sooner your finish, the more points you get.  And of course there’s a hint button in case you get stuck…something that happened to me once or twice.
