Roku has officially released updated versions of their Roku 3 and Roku 2 boxes in the United States. This is the first new hardware from Roku in over two years and these updates offer some exciting new features. The new version of Roku 3 has a voice search feature. You can use voice commands to search titles from the Roku 3 remote. The new version of the Roku 2 has speed as fast as the Roku 3 and both updated versions offer ‘Roku Feed’ watch makes movie streaming even more customizable. Though Roku fans were expecting a Roku 4 box, these updates are sure to keep them loyal to the Roku brand.

Samsung’s Galaxy S6 Edge was put to the bend test and had the same results as the iPhone 5 Plus. According to SquareTrade, a gadget-insurer, if you apply 110 pounds of pressure to the Galaxy S6 Edge the phone bends. Of course, Samsung wasn’t too happy about this test and responded to SquareTrade’s pressure test with a statement assuring customers that “under normal circumstances” a person wouldn’t be applying this much pressure to their phone in their back pocket. Samsung has released their own bend-test video and will most likely challenge SquarTrade to redo their video. Could this be bend-gate 2?

And lastly, whenever you put The Sims and Reddit users together of course some interesting results are sure to come. Last week, an AskReddit post wanted gamers to share the craziest situations they had put their Sims characters in and the answers did not disappoint. Reddit users shared tales that mostly included death. One user shared how he killed his Sims character by drowning them in the pool and forcing everyone to attend the funeral in swimwear. Though The Sims is a life simulation game, users get more fun out of putting their characters in the most unrealistic situations.
