Consumer Update

SicChic [pronounced: sick-sheek] is a growing clothing company for women warriors founded by illustrator and graphic artist, Wendy Jarva.

In addition to being a talented artist, Wendy is also an avid martial artist.

And it was during a sparring session with her sister that a blow to the chest led her to discover she had breast cancer. After overcoming cancer, she fused her passion for art and martial arts and launched SicChic.

SicChic offers clothing and accessories for women involved in Jiu Jitsu, fitness, and yoga as well as other fight wear.

By outfitting women warriors, they’re helping to empower women and young girls. It’s this driving purpose that led to their sponsorship of Girls ‘in Gi’s, an organization dedicated to building and strengthening the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community for females.

SicChic proudly sponsors individual athletes as well, professional and amateur alike. Help is at the heart of the clothing company and as a result of Wendy’s own battle with the disease, they’ve raised over $30,000 for breast cancer alone.

As the SicChic brand grows you can find banners and merchandise booths proudly displayed at events along the East Coast.
