Leaked images have given us our first look at Samsung’s next Galaxy phones, the S21, S21 Plus and S21 Ultra, rumored to be dropping as early as January 2021.

The images suggest the new flagship phones will arrive in four different colors – white, gray, purple and pink, possibly with “Phantom” appearing before every color name. Which of the 3 new phones will appear in what color is still not clear, but there is some pretty good intel (that’s an industry term that means “guesses”) on that front.

The regular Galaxy S21 sports a 6.2-inch display with three lenses on the camera, including an ultra-wide and telephoto, a la the iPhone 12 Pro. The new phone is receiving an upgrade with a Snapdragon 888 processor chip possibly being added to the guts.

The Galaxy S21 Plus might suggest a top-of-the-line phone, but this one is the middle-of-the-road Galaxy with a 6.7-inch display. It’s said that the Plus will appear in all of the above colors except for pink. Other than size and one less color to choose from, we’re not expecting much difference between the S21 and S21 Plus. The Plus will most likely see some more RAM and a more powerful battery.

The big boy here is the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Just looking at the camera will tell you this one is the leader of the pack. I count 4 lenses on the back, one sensor and one autofocus module. Rumors suggest along with its 6.8-inch AMOLED display, the S21 Ultra will support the S Pen, Samsung’s stylus.

It seems the cooler and more jam packed the phone gets, the less color options are available. The Ultra will apparently only be available in basic black or silver. But hey, at least you get a quad camera that may look ridiculous but probably takes a mean photo.

While we don’t have an official announcement on when these phones will launch or if they even exist at all (spoiler: they totally do), we expect to hear all about them at the Samsung event scheduled for January. That should also coincide with CES.
