The Complete Guide for Call of Duty Vanguard for Any Noob Who is New to the Game

We are familiar with the Call of Duty franchise, are we not? If you are a Call of Duty fanatic and if you haven’t had a go at Call of Duty Vanguard – honestly, are you even a fan?

Not to worry, in this detailed guide we will cover most things about the game so you don’t have to lose a lot of time figuring the game out yourself, and you can instead focus on the more important things like surviving.

In my opinion, Call of Duty Vanguard is perhaps one of the best games out there, and you will be doing yourself a favour if you play it.

The story line

The game takes us back to World War II, where you are the member of the Vanguard Squad who has the mission of unraveling the secrets of Project Phoenix.

I won’t get into what Project Phoenix is but I will let you know that we don’t want Hitler’s guys to get their hands on it.

The entirety of the main game can take you anywhere between 5 to 10 hours depending on how much time you spend and how competent you are.

Main strategy of combat

Similar to other Call of Duty games, during the Vanguard combat you will be expected to find different, useful weapons and use them depending on what the situation entails.

Again, survival is naturally the main aim but you also want to cause as much damage to the opposing team as possible. This will require you to take cover, and find different vantage points which you will leverage in your favor. You can use aimbot for call of duty vanguard to help you with this.

The game is made beautifully, so take in all the glorious cutscenes and appreciate them.

Choosing your combat style

By combat style, we also mean your pacing. For the first time in Call of Duty history, the game has introduced something that caters to everyone’s style of playing.

Here is a brief description of about combat pacing in Call of Duty Vanguard:

  • You will use tactical pacing if you consider yourself a Call of Duty professional. This is something you are most familiar with having played the previous games of the franchise.
  • You will use assault pacing if you want to go a little slower. Depending on how big or small the map is, you will be given the option to navigate your way through the map, meaning you will have an opportunity to explore, while also getting kills.
  • You will use Blitz pacing if chaotic combat is when you thrive the most. This pacing is not for everyone because there are literally bullets coming in from everywhere. Even the most veteran players struggle with this pacing but it is definitely a good challenge to make things interesting.

Weapons in Call of Duty Vanguard

There are over 40 weapons that you will discover in the game, and almost all of them can be outfitted with different add ons.

This is also something that is different in Call of Duty Vanguard as you are able to construct a weapon that caters to your style of shooting specifically.

What I loved most about this game is how it tries to personalize the experience depending on who’s playing it instead of pushing on standard weaponry on each player.

Key game modes

Call of duty Vanguard has a bunch of different game mods that you can try out to see which one you like best. Here are some of the best ones:

  • Kill confirmed: This is when you have to get the kill and their dog tags get a point. Quick tip: in case of a death of a team mate, make sure you get their dog tag as well so the other team doesn’t get to.
  • Hardpoint: You will have control over a single point somehwere on the map, where you will have combat. This point also chnages throughout the game.
  • Free for all: A personal favorite
