The Honey Jar Spell
Honey has long been used for spells by witches of the past. Its sweetness makes it particularly potent for love spells. Sweetness is magnetic, as the saying “you catch more flies with honey” shows. It is a fantastic component for affection, harmony and connection, as well as managing conflict.
So, if you notice the connection fading with someone or you are trying to recover a relationship from a quarrel, this is the spell for you. But, it can also help create a connection with that special someone you have your eye on.
Remember, the relationship will have to survive on its own after the initial push from this spell. What is meant to be, will be!
What you will need
- Honey jar
- Pen
- Paper
- Candle (will go into more detail later)
Start with writing the name of the person on the piece of paper. You need to do this three times, one after the other.
Next, rotate the paper 90 degrees and write your own name in the same way. You want the letters of each of your names to overlap.
Now, you must set an intention. Do you want to create a long-lasting friendship? Reconcile after conflict? Improve your relationship? Then you will write this down. But, the key here is to not let your pen lift from the paper. The cursive writing should also be in the shape of a circle around both of your names.
Fold the paper and put it in your jar of honey. Put it in deep enough that you get honey on your fingers. After taking your hand out the honey, but keeping the paper inside, you must say the following: “Just like this honey is sweet, that’s how (name of person) will be for me.”
Once you’ve said this, like the honey from your finger. Close the jar. Next, grab a candle and place it on top of the jar. You are going to let this burn and the wax seal the jar.
Choosing your candle colour
In witchcraft, the colour of your candle is important. Here are some examples:
Pink: for emphasizing love, of any kind.
Red: romantic relationships.
White: this is a great colour if you’re not sure what colour to use.
