New Samsung Bespoke Oven to be unveiled at CES 2023

Just in time for CES 2023, Samsung has given us a look at their newest kitchen additions to their Bespoke Home Line, including the Bespoke AI Oven. That’s right, an oven powered by AI that assists in the baking process.

“At CES 2023, we are continuing to build on the success of our Bespoke lineup with the introduction of new Bespoke refrigerators and built-in appliances that give consumers even more ways to express themselves in their kitchens,” EVP and Head of the Customer Experience Team of the Digital Appliances Business at Samsung Electronics, Junhwa Lee, said in a press release.

The Bespoke AI Oven is a wild one. Apparently, you can put whatever food you intend to cook inside the oven and the thing will detect what you’re looking to do. For example, put an apple pie in there and the oven will recognize it. It’ll then recommend what you should do to properly cook the dish, including offering up temp, time and cooking mode suggestions. The robot oven can detect up to 80 different ingredients and dishes. If you get the EU model, it’ll recognize up to 106 dishes.

While it’s cooking, you can keep an eye on the dish with an internal camera videoing the process in real time and then showing it on the front of the oven on a little built-in 7-inch screen. Just flip on the display and check in on your dish whenever you like.

This is being marketed to TikTok and other social media creators as well. You can livestream whatever’s in your oven and cast it across pretty much any social network. This is a great feature for those who have cooking-centric channels and pages. You can even snap photos as it cooks and share stills.

Beyond all these novelties, the Bespoke AI Oven offers a few cooking modes, including steam cooking, air fryer, dual temp zones and air sous vide. And the built-in burn detection feature will send out alerts if your food is in danger of being overcooked.

Samsung has also unveiled a Bespoke Wall Mount Hood and a larger touchscreen for the 4-Door Flex refrigerator. CES is already popping and this is just the start.
