AppWatch Review
It seems there are endless possibilities when it comes to social media and photo-sharing apps. A new one with an intriguing twist is called SnikPic. Designed to engage your followers in more dialogue, Snikpic allows you to send photos with all or parts of the photo blurred out. You can send it either as a direct message or post it on your news feed.
Now, in order for anyone to see what’s behind the blur they have to answer a question you pose. Those who answer correctly will be able to see the photo behind the blur. SnikPic gives you the option of sharing either photos or videos as any true photo sharing app should.
Videos loop on your News Feed with the blur covering it. Within the network itself you can focus on answering the question, commenting on it and seeing who has answered correctly or incorrectly. You can also mess with the sender by sending a clearly incorrect answer their way. You can also work on getting a high ranking score by earning points through correctly answering other people’s questions, and posting more photos and videos.
A higher Snik Score means a higher rank on the ladder that you can compare with friends of even globally. With full Instagram, Facebook and Twitter integration this app opens up a whole new avenue to get you and your friends talking. Right now SnikPic is available on iOS devices with an Android-compatible app coming soon.
You can download it for free by going to your App Store and searching “SnikPic.”
