T-BLADE – Space Saving Keyboard | NewsWatch Review

Tech Report

iPads are great for increasing efficiency and as an alternative to a laptop. But no matter how often Apple updates the software or the hardware, there’s still something limiting its efficiency. In comes the T-BLADE to the rescue.

T-BLADE was created to increase mobility and optimize the operation of the iPad. It is the world’s first back-typing keyboard. The QWERTY keyboard makes use of “dead space” on the back of the tablet. By placing it on the back it keeps the iPad mobile and requires no need for a location to set up the iPad and external keyboard.

Now, at first glance this might seem odd. But we found the back surface of the tablet to be the ideal place to position a keyboard. And we have done a thorough research based on the viewpoint of human engineering to make typing easy and comfortable. Your brain can easily be trained to remember key placement.

If you were to use a standard external keyboard you’d need to have a space to type like a table or a desk and at that point you might as well be using a laptop. But the T-BLADE takes your normal and special function keys and puts them on the front and back of the iPad to free up space. T-BLADE is a device that creates a stress-free typing environment with the back typing QWERTY keyboard, allowing you to send emails, surf the web and type notes anytime and anywhere.

Right now the T-BLADE has a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo and is looking to finish that soon and officially launch. They plan to release the product in Fall 2016 in Japan and Spring 2017 in the U.S.
