He is not just a YouTuber but also a podcaster and a proud crypto enthusiast. He is none other than the founder of BitBoyCrypto.com, Ben Armstrong. It’s an honor to have him with us today to share his journey in the world of cryptocurrencies.
Q: Thank you, Mr. Armstrong, for making time and speaking to us today. We would first like to know what intrigued you into entering the crypto industry?
A: Well, thank you for your kind words. Ever since I discovered Bitcoin in 2012, I found this industry quite interesting. I had my interest in the stock market, but the crypto industry was something new at that time. Since so many people were talking about, I also decided to learn about how the system works. And once I started studying about this market, I couldn’t keep myself off it. It became a natural attraction for me.
Q: What was it like when you first started investing? Did it turn out to be a profitable venture?
A: Funny and depressing story. I took my first step into investing in Bitcoin in 2012. But it turned out to be a disastrous investment for me. I used Charlie Shrem’s BitInstant and ended up losing Bitcoin in the Mt. Gox hack.
Q: That must have been a pretty rough year for you. Did you make any further investments in Bitcoin or any other coin for that matter?
A: 2012 was a learning curve for me. Honestly, I thought I was going to make easy money by investing in crypto. But I quickly realized that crypto trading wasn’t as easy as many people would have you believe. I have learned so much since then. And now, I want to help fellow crypto enthusiasts in their journey, sharing the mistakes I made and teaching them the fundamentals of trading.
I always feel that if you have a passion for something, you will find multiple doors to success. Through BitBoy Crypto, I share my knowledge in crypto trading to help new traders. I know that new traders could use my experience to make their paths a tad bit easier.
Q: Do you only focus on cryptocurrency?
A: Well, my YouTube channel only focuses on the crypto industry. The channel became so popular that I had to create a separate news division to keep my subscribers updated with the latest information on the market.
