Consumer Update
It’s summertime and the living’s easy! Well, maybe it’s only spring, but that doesn’t mean you can’t kickstart that grill and get some tasty BBQ going! Now, before you do that, you have to make sure you have everything necessary to do up your BBQ right.
Even the most novice grill master knows that chicken and steak need the right BBQ sauce to satisfy your taste buds. Take a trip to the supermarket and you’ll see a few pedestrian choices of BBQ sauce. Sure, maybe a couple of them promise jerk seasoning on the label or “the best hot sauce in Texas!” but don’t get your hopes up.
I’ll tell you, I’m tired of my BBQ sauce tasting the same ol’, same ol’. Everything tastes the same or at least similar enough that you might as well swipe the bottle from the market shelf with a blindfold on. I’m ready for something different; something that tastes like nothing you can get back home in the states; something…tropical.
Lucky for me, there’s something to satisfy that craving the next time I fire up the grill. Spice Isle Sauces does a wonderful job of bringing the island flavors to the U.S. with their line of authentic Caribbean sauces and seasonings.
Developed at a restaurant on the island of Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Spice Isle Sauces is as authentic as you can get. The distinctive flavors are unlike any knockoffs you’ll find at your local supermarket. Four of the products feature a blend of tropical fruits, including Tamarind, a fruit native to the tropics.
The other two products are an authentic jerk sauce and rub with real jerk seasoning and ingredients indigenous to the Caribbean. Are you catching a pattern here? All of this bottled goodness doesn’t cut corners by trying to replicate distinctive Caribbean flavors by using impostor ingredients from here in the states.
Spice Isle Sauces knows some of us want the heat, like that of a robust hot sauce, but not everybody likes to lose the taste in their mouth. That’s understandable, I guess. Lucky for them Spice Isle Sauces has a motto, “We want you to be able to taste your food and finish your meal.” With that in mind, the four sauces that bring the heat are balanced beautifully with the flavor to make sure you can enjoy it.
Add some authentic Caribbean flavors the next time you grill up chicken, steak or seafood. Get your island BBQ sauce at SpiceIsleSauces.com.
