Spacetalk – Tech Wearable for Kids | NewsWatch Review

Tech Report

Smartwatches and other wearables are only advancing and becoming one of the most popular tech items on the market. Though, while there are plenty of different versions out there, we haven’t really seen a high-quality smartwatch that’s tailored towards kids safety. That is, until now.

The Spacetalk smartwatch by Australian company AllMyTribe. It’s an all-in-one phone, GPS tracker and watch.

Your child can make and take calls – with great voice reception – from a set of contacts of your choosing.

If you’re so inclined, you’ll be able to edit those contacts directly in the AllMyTribe parent app.

If your child is in need of assistance, a special SOS alert function can be set up to call you and other emergency contacts you plug in.

The GPS tracker is, of course, something almost any parent would want, with excellent location accuracy. Whenever your child is wearing the Spacetalk watch, you’ll be able to see where they are at any point in time.

They can even check in with you with the SMS messaging function.

Additional features include a step counter, alarm clock, a school mode function that silences it during class, a stopwatch and a flashlight.

But, of course, all this wouldn’t mean much if that watch wasn’t secure. Spacetalk meets all the European privacy and security standards and regulations.
